Can some one please explain to me Awstats?

What is the difference between

Unique visitors
Number of visits
Pages
and
Hits

What do I need to take most notice of?

unique visitors are msot important.
a unique visitor is someone who has never visited your site before.

a visitor is someone that has been on your site before

page views are how many times a page/all your pages have been viewed

hits are any kind of traffic, all added together, visitors, crawlers,bots, unique vistos etc
