Do many politicians only go through the motions to get the government freebies?

  1. Grace and favour london pads, free plasma telly with Sky subscription, free weekly shopping and bills paid?
What action have YOU seen from your local MP? What tangible difference have they made?
Not to mention a very nice wage packet, thank you very much Mr Tax Payer.

You just made a speech. You're supposed to ask a question.

But perhaps you just don't get it.

Maybe so Miss Yumi...but for other better paid jobs you need a brain and some qualifications...for other better paid jobs you need to work for more then 13 years to be entitled to a full pension...other better paid jobs don't offer the holidays MP's get.....in better paid jobs you have to account for your expenses......most importantly in other better paid jobs you have to account for your actions!

Asker: My local MP swans around smiling at people much the same as his cohorts do.....made no difference except I have a lot less disposable income and I have to keep my mouth shut because if I said what I think I would end up in prison!

All of them. Britain's politicians do not ask, "What can I give
my country?" They ask, "How much can I take from it?"

Doubt it. There are plenty of better paying jobs with better perks.

Some do, but you are going to fine that in every job or office.
They take advantage of what is offered to them.
What you want to know is 'did they earn those perks'??

They are only there to line their own pockets and the pockets of their families and friends.
