How do I view what http servers are active on my computer?

    I am trying to install a php server on my computer but it is telling me there is already http servers running on the relevant port. This is news to me. How do I see what http servers are running?

    type the following into the address bar on your browser.

    http://127.0.0.1
    This is the loopback address to your computer.

    If you get any form of webpage, you have a webserver running.

    If it's microsoft, that would be done in IIS. All web sites are setup under IIS.
