I believe you mean AdSense. You cannot "add" AdWords to a website, Adwords is where you go to pay for advertising of your site.
The last poster said it was worth a penny a click, but that is completely wrong. You can make dollars per click too! Some clicks go as high as 30 dollars and more

AdWords is NOT set up to be free...it is a pay-per-click program. There are several scam artists out there who claim they have figured out a way to get around having to pay Google, but they are just that, scams. You do have to pay for each time a customer clicks on one of your ads, if you use Google AdWords. Google Adsense, though, is absolutely free to use, and you get paid one penny per each click a visitor makes on your site on one of the Google ads placed there through Adsense.
