In 3ds Max 7, how do I scale down a (.3DS) model and then save it that way?

I discovered many websites with free .3DS models. Most of them are too large for a game I'm making. After importing a 3ds model file, how do I shrink it. (I'm a novice at this obviously).

OK. Its very simple process. First of all u import the model in 3DS MAX and then select it and click on the button "Select and uniform scale" available in the horizental tool bar and drag out the model. Remember in the same place three tools are available in drop down list called " Select and uniform scale", "select and non uniform scale", and "select and squash".
