Internet Explorer 6

    Should the web industry really carry on supporting such browsers ? its old and doesn't support alot of todays coding so should businesses and web designers to cater for the older browsers

    Adam, I think you are aware that I also work for a large corp company.

    As it currently stands, we still have IE6 on all PCs.

    This is due to to the company not having upgraded their PCs yet but when they do, I am sure it will be the latest version of Internet Explorer or at least IE7.0.

    As for support, do you think that Microsoft takes these things into account?

    IE6 is outdated software now. But I have to keep it as most of my customers use IE6 and I have to develop sites which are compatible with IE6 :( .

    IE8 is much better browser by Microsoft. i have heard that IE8 is more secure and fast than Firefox 3.
