How much do you think 'internet.com' is worth?

However, this domain already has an established web site by Jupiter Media Corporation.

Anyway, This is just for fun!!

I dont think it is worth that much to be honest. It is not a sales term. You have to think about what the site would be used for. what would you put on "interent.com" that is not already there. I think it would end up being about the same type of site as it is now.

My guess is about $10,000 or so to be honest.

Pr means nothing when you have that much traffic coming through the site, its very close to the traffic of DP and they are earning 20,000 a day through adsense apparently

Pr is only good if you are selling links, that is the only thing its good for and a small boost in serps

I have heard that number for DP and that has got to be exaggerated. That would be over 7 million dollars and I am pretty sure that is not accurate.

Okay! So, let me appraise it. It would go easily for more than about 10 Millions. Just see, when America.com has gone for 6 Millions. There is nothing wrong for INTERNET.COM to go for more than 10 millions. But, if that comes for an auction, then, some company like Yahoo! or Google will also place there bid!

he showed $100,000 monthly checks. Monthly. Sure that is still a ton of money, but I know one of the bigger MMO bloggers personally and even he says all the money number tossed around are way way over exaggerated. Sure some people like Shoemoney and Problogger and John Chow (around $30,000 a month) ARE making money, but the numbers people discuss are way way to high.

Dude!! It also depends upon luck. For example, YouTube. Just in a year, its value went from 0 to 1.6 Billion. So, it was all their luck and now, they have nothing more to achieve in their life! Lucky Lads!!

YES AND NO. Youtube also was the first to have a site with a certain type of technology that was taking off with the videos. So of course it is some luck, but it is also being innovative and always working on your projects. Those youtube guys were working 20 hours a day right up to the day they were purchased and still are....

Well hogging such a domain name without any profits or interests to others doesn't make sense! Better they sell it or make something useful for people or let it expire so others could buy it and make profits from it!

One name is enough to be a miilionare. I mean, if you had bought a domain about at least 15 years back. Then, you would be a millionare now. If I was in this world 15 years ago. I would surely purchase some great domain like you.com or go.com or shop.com or america.com etc... The one who purchased these domain are really lucky!
