Ubuntu question If you have Ubuntu what version are you running 6.06 or 6.10?

    How much better is the 6.10 then the 6.06 what are the differentses between the two, does the 6.10 have that Xgl installed in it?

    XGL is not installed by default. 7.04, Feisty Fawn, due next year (April) will have XGL by default.

    Basically 6.10 has a bunch of bug fixes. Most importantly, the init was changed so boot up time is significantly faster (half of 6.06's boot time).

    But if you're ok with 6.06, then you can stick with it.
