    does anyone no any gd websites where u can download videos for free and put them on youtube???????

  2. Putting other people's work on YouTube is a violation of copyright terms. I also don't understand why you would want to download videos off a website, only to host them on another.

    It can be done, but it's a tedious process which involves downloading the video from the website first of all. This could be done by saving it off in a certain manner, or if its somewhere like Yahoo! Video or YouTube, to use KeepVid.

    If you use KeepVid, the file will be an FLV file. This is a flash video file, and will need to be converted before YouTube will accept it. You should do this with a program called SUPER encoder.

    When you have converted it to the correct format (see the YouTube site for details on the best format for uploading a video), you should upload it via the YouTube website.

    However, as stated before, uploading copyrighted materials to YouTube is a violation of copyright; and the chances are your video will be deleted, and you will be banned from YouTube.
